Essential Duties, Skills and Responsibilities
- Installation of building systems in residential properties, family complexes, commercial properties, and industrial properties including drainage, water distribution, gas sizing, drain cleaning, boilers/ hot water heating
- Participate in training to improve trade skills
- Maintain organized worksite
- On call availability
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system
- Assist with special projects, as assigned
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory while striving for excellence. The requirements listed below are a representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Education and/ or Experience – experience with building systems in residential, multifamily complexes, commercial properties, and industrial properties is considered an asset; experience with boilers is considered an asset.
- Physical Demands – Required to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver up to 100 pounds; must be able to work in smaller spaces.
